A metro Detroit tattoo artist is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month by giving away free pink ribbon tattoos to benefit the Pink Fund. John Motyka, owner of Elite Ink LLC Discount Tattoos and Piercing, is holding the free breast cancer ribbon tattoo day this Friday at his Centerline and Southfield locations by appointment.

"We wanted to create this exclusive event to help raise Breast Cancer Awareness and to benefit The Pink Fund. We will provide free tattoos on a limited basis. Scheduled clients will have the opportunity to make a donation to the Pink Fund. The ribbon tattoos offer a permanent form of advertisement to spread the message all year round," Motyka said.

The Pink Fund, an organization founded by breast cancer survivor Molly McDonald, helps to provide short-term financial aid to women, men, and their families fighting or recovering from breast cancer. The organization also helps women and men focus on healing, raising their families and returning to the workplace.
