New images, tattoos, and video of Giovanni Ramirez were revealed to the public as Ramirez arrived at LAPD Headquarters today. Giovanni Ramirez has far more tattoos than LAPD and his defense attorneys have been telling us, Los Angeles residents learned this afternoon. After fascination grew over Ramirez’s tear drop tattoo and neck tattoos last week, shocking new evidence was revealed late Wednesday of an entire new cluster of tattoos.

Giovanni Ramirez emerged from a police cruiser’s backseat in a jumpsuit and handcuffs this afternoon. When the shave-head Ramirez turned away, a Los Angeles cameraman was able to depict something on Ramirez that citizens have yet to see. Ramirez doesn’t just have neck tattoos. He has a massive band of tattoos that runs from underneath his chin, continues underneath his ear and goes all the way to his hairline at the back of his head.
This revelation again prompts more questions into the witness identification at Dodgers stadium. The video imagery today was taken from afar, but during daylight. It is impossible to miss the tattoos under Ramirez’s earlobes, the back of his head, and certainly under his chin.As previously reported on LALATE, sketches from the Bryan Stow beating depict a male suspect without neck tattoos. But not only does Ramirez have tattoos all the way to the base of his collar line, he has ink that runs all way around unearth his chin, underneath his earlobes, to onto the back of his head. None of this ink is depicted in the suspect sketches.
Legal analysts have claimed that LAPD’s case is based solely upon eye witness testimony with no alleged DNA or other evidence. Last week LALATE reported that LAPD officials implied multiple witnesses, not just one, participated in Ramirez’s police lineup.
But in police sketches derived from witness testimony, there is no depiction of any ink except a teardrop tattoo. The revelation about Ramirez’s new tattoos were shown as he underwent a quasi perp walk Wednesday. Ramirez was taken to LAPD headquarters to undergone a lie detector test. Test results were expected to be release today. But attorneys for Ramirez, reportedly now up to three lawyers, have yet to comment about today’s polygraph results.
