Cheryl Cole's new tattoo is obviously a huge design. The Girls Aloud star showed off the lower flower leaf section on her upper left thigh when she unveiled her wax figure at Madame Tussauds in October. 'I designed it myself with the help of an artist and had it done to symbolise a new beginning,' Cheryl, 27, explained.

'I am ready to move on, make a fresh start. It starts on my thigh and it goes all the way up.'The X Factor judge revealed even more this week at the National Television Awards. The top of the tattoo extends all over her lower back, wrapping around an old butterfly design.
Cheryl had the artwork started in LA last summer to mark her divorce from Chelsea footballer ex-husband Ashley Cole. 'The tattoo is deeply personal,' Cheryl, 27, admits. 'It took weeks to come up with the final design.'
The mystery remains on what it will eventually be - unless it's supposed to be finished. Cheryl has 4 other tattoos - the iconic one on her hand, a barbed wired pattern around her right thigh, an etching on her left buttock and the words Mrs C on her neck.
