WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - There is something about a temporary tattoo that takes people back to their childhood. Well, it doesn't have to be just a childhood memory. You can indulge in the look of a tattoo without having to pay the price or pain and to tell you more are Paul Telelyuyev, Tattoo Artist and Scott Primack, Owner and founder of Rival ink in West Springfield. It's a way to try a tattoo without getting one. Paul is sporting some airbrush tattoos. It's body paint we put on with an airbrush.

It's body paint. It doesn't get injected into your skin. It's airbrushed on your skin. At no point in time do we break the integrity of the skin. It is paint that does lie on top. Besides being fun and recreational thing to do, it's a great thing to try a tattoo before buying one. So many people have regrets or maybe they always wanted a tattoo, this is a wonderful way to try a piece of body art for two weeks without the pain. Depending on body type and placement, the paint does typically last up to two weeks and it is waterproof.

There are a big board of just designs they can pick through. Typically, we use stencils. There is more than 1,000 designs out there people can choose from. We have anything that can fit people's tastes. As far as stencils, a lot of people will make their own stencils as well to customize to your liking.

The best part about airbrush tattooing is anyone from 1 to 100 can enjoy an airbrush tattoo. There is no pain involved and all the paint is FDA Approved. So it's safe for the skin. Kids' birthday parties is a huge client for most people to do airbrush tattoos and events. All the way from the Big E to other events as well. It's minimal. It can be as low as $5.

There's no pain involved whatsoever. None. And as far as the permanency, you can get this done and say, oh, you know what two weeks later I didn't really like where I had it on my body and I didn't like the color and it's gone. You can wipe it off even before then with just an alcohol swab. We do make our own stencils. A lot of people in the airbrush industry make their own stencils. It's really nice to put your own signature on that. The company has been around about two years.
